Event Manager - Creative Reactions/Our Society

Trent spent the first few years post-school as a butcher, baker, but lamentably never a candlestick-maker. Attending university following an access course, he now does a PhD in microbiology. He aims to use his non-scientific past to make science more open for people from varying backgrounds.

Emma Ryder

Event Manager - Planet Earth

Emma, a postdoctoral researcher, specialises in structural biology in DNA repair. Her work involves isolating protein tools to understand specific protein-protein interactions. Inspired by last year’s Pint of Science talks, she is excited to get involved and help share more exciting science!
